Emraan Hashmi’s Musical Horror Film ‘Rooh’ Adds Tips Films and Tips Music (EXCLUSIVE)

Emraan Hashmi's musical horror film "Rooh" has just secured a significant production boost with the addition of Tips Films and Tips Music to its team. This development is noteworthy because it signals a strong commitment to the project's music component, which is likely to play a crucial role in the film's overall appeal. Given that music has long been a cornerstone of Bollywood's success, the involvement of Tips Music, a well-established player in the Indian music industry, could prove to be a strategic advantage.

The horror genre has been gaining traction in Indian cinema, with several recent films achieving commercial success. By combining horror with music, "Rooh" is poised to tap into multiple audience interests, potentially broadening its appeal. The film's focus on music also raises questions about how it will integrate musical elements into the narrative. Will it follow the trend of Bollywood films that feature elaborate song-and-dance numbers, or will it experiment with more innovative approaches to storytelling through music?

As the project moves forward, with a 2027 theatrical release planned across the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu markets, it's worth keeping an eye on how the film's music is received by audiences. The involvement of Kumar Taurani and Tips Films/Tips Music suggests that there will be significant resources devoted to promoting the film's soundtrack, which could help generate buzz and build anticipation ahead of the release. With Mayank Sharma at the helm, "Rooh" has the potential to be a standout horror film with a memorable musical component – stay tuned to see how it all comes together.
